Jaguar Land Rover Ireland Limited is voluntary recalling certain "Land Rover Discovery" vehicles due to "various electrical faults."
The company have identified that the vehicles may experience various electrical faults due to insufficient contact of the battery earth stud to the chassis.
The faults may cause loss to exterior lighting which could result in an increased risk of an accident.
The vehicles in question were manufactured from 21 September 2018 to 31 August 2020.
There are currently 341 affected vehicles in the Republic of Ireland.
Jaguar Land Rover Ireland Limited have warned: "The vehicle could cut out while in motion and may lose all electrical power.
"Vehicle cut out while in motion and loss of exterior lighting without warning to the driver could lead to an increased risk of an accident."
Jaguar Land Rover Ireland Limited have said that they will directly contact all affected customers.
They will advise them to make an appointment with their local dealer or authorised repairer, where necessary works will be carried out on vehicles.
