A number of homes and businesses have been hit by a power cut this morning in Kilmarnock.
It comes after snow, rain and wind has been hitting Ayrshire in the aftermath of Storm Ciara.
Power chiefs were hoping to have the power up and running by 11am, but that has now changed to 12 noon.
An SP Energy Networks message said: "There is power cut in the KA1 postcode area of Kilmarnock.
"We did not know in advance there would be a power cut, and became aware of this at 8.55am.
"Our control centre will attempt to reset the network remotely to restore power in stages, and our engineers have arrived on-site.
"Our team will work to get your power back on as quickly and as safely as possible by 11am.
"When we receive any update regarding the cause, we will be able to provide you with more information. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
