Hundreds of people on a small island have got together for a Christmas parade past the house of neighbour for her 100th birthday.
Ellen Fadian celebrated the milestone, but could not have a big party because of coronavirus restrictions.
She has spent her whole life living in Dooagh, on Achill, an island on the west coast of Ireland.
Her neighbours decided to rally together to show their support for the now-centenarian woman.
They organised a procession of over 100 cars to drive past her house and wish her a happy birthday.
Sean Molloy, 50, who filmed the event, said: "She's reared her whole family in the village, she's lived here all her life.
"That's where she was born, in that house.
"It was a very important day for the village to recognise it, but we can't have celebrations like everywhere else, so some members of the village organised a drive by for her birthday.
"I would say there was about 130 cars and most cars were full of children and everything, there must have been 4-500 people all together.
"I enjoyed it, it was an amazing scene - especially in the day, every place in Europe was getting bad news yesterday and we were no different here, but it was a little light of joy in what would otherwise have been a fairly depressing Christmas.
"I can't believe all the shares and messages that have been coming in from all over the world, this was a small glimmer of joys in peoples lives."
