Hundreds of fans watch the England game at Manchester City Centre bars

Hundreds of fans screamed in elation as England scored against Czech Republic tonight.

Crowds gathered at popular Manchester City Centre bars to watch the match.

Predicting a 'boring one-nil' Manchester City fan Dan Flannery jumped as top player Raheem Sterling scored within minutes.

He told the Manchester Evening News he had watched every match at bars and with friends and it was the first day he didn't wear the kit.

He said it 'wouldn't ruin' his night if England lost as the team are already through to the next round but, he added: "I still want us to win."

Also sat in the beer garden at Impossible, on Peter Street in Manchester, were Steve and Liam who predicted one-nil to England, saying they 'hoped it would be an 'exciting game'.

VIPs were downstairs at the bar to watch England win, including legend Ricky Hatton MBE, ladies players from Manchester United and the Sale Sharks Rugby Team.
