Officers have today seized more than 200 cannabis plants while raiding properties in Liverpool.
In a "day of action" Merseyside police smashed into homes in Speke with the aim of tackling organised crime in the area.
Two warrants were carried out and 231 cannabis plants were found in an address on Damwood Road.
More cannabis was then seized at a property on Miners Way.
As a result of the seizures , two men, aged 60 and 33, were arrested on suspicion of cannabis production and have been taken in to custody for questioning.
Sergeant Rebecca Hodgson said: "Today we have been working with partners in our Roads Policing and Mounted Teams as well as being supported by the Fire Service and Housing department.
"We have also utilised our Op Target resources to carry out additional proactive deployments aimed at identifying and deterring criminals.
"The support from our internal and external partners is greatly appreciated and means that we can broaden our patrols on any given day.
"Let us know if you have any concerns or know someone that is involved in crime and we will take action."
