Now pupils in Bristol plan to strike on April 12, which will be the third time in as many months that children have ditched their lessons for the campaign.
Other demos have seen headteachers and parents joining in the strike.
During the first Bristol protest in mid-February, pupils brought the city to a standstill with a roadblock. This resulted in police being forced to step in and stop a lorry driver who appeared to attempt to drive through the blockade, while young people complained they were manhandled off the road by police officers.
And during last month's demo, two people were arrested for 'burglary' before quickly being dearrested.
The latest demo is set to take place on College Green, at 11am on April 12.
