Government-enforced coronavirus restrictions will be relaxed in Britain over Christmas.

People will be allowed to travel around the UK to see family, and to mix indoors in exclusive bubbles of three households over a period of five days.

However, Boris Johnson has warned people to think "jolly carefully" about whether they should see older and clinically vulnerable family members.

A vaccine will also begin being rolled out to the UK's most vulnerable groups and frontline workers before Christmas.

GP surgeries have been told to be ready to start staffing vaccination centres by December 14.
