Hundreds expected to gather for Falkirk car cruise event

Hundreds of people are expected attend a cruise event in Falkirk tomorrow night.

Car enthusiast are being warned to expect an increased police presence in the area on Thursday January, 6.

A large gathering of racers is expected at West Main Industrial Estate.

Officers say they'll have numerous traffic cops along with an air support team to crack down on any irresponsible driving.

Taking to Twitter, Police Scotland said: "Air support will deploy a Police drone to assist @polscotrpu @FalkirkPolice at West Mains Ind Est, Falkirk on Thursday evening as part of the policing operation during a car cruise event."
