Hundreds call for fountain pusher who also pulled down steward's trousers to be banned

Hundreds of people have said that a man who pulled a match day steward's trousers down should be banned by LFC.

Martin "Marty" Mullen was also named by angry supporters as the man suspected of pushing a local in Barcelona into a fountain two weeks ago.

After Liverpool's clash against Wolves on Sunday, a new video began circulating on social media that appears to show Mr Mullen pulling an ill-natured prank, at the expense of a match day steward.

The footage, filmed at the junction of Walton Breck Road and Burnand Street , shows a man in an FC Barcelona cap, understood to be Mr Mullen, passing someone his pint while they film him.

He then runs over to a match day traffic steward who is stood at a road closure sign and yanks his trousers down, before running away laughing.

Mr Mullen, who is understood to have spent many years travelling to Liverpool away matches, has been slammed by hundreds of LFC supporters who are calling for him to be banned by the club.

Les Webb added: "What a deadhead, already being investigated by police for Barcelona incident and still gets somebody to record this knowing it'll end up on here.

"Needs banning just for being dense."

On Facebook Laura Hipkins said: "He should be banned from all football things. I feel ashamed if he was one my family members he is a disgrace.
