Hundreds of mourners gathered at a Bristol church to celebrate the life of a mum-of-six who was "an angel" and "shone a light on every person she came into contact with".
Reverend Dr. Marcelline Beatrice Mudisi-Robinson died on December 15 in a four-vehicle collision on the M4 on the South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire border.
The crash happened on the westbound stretch of the motorway, between Chippenham and Bath.
The reverend's family have previously paid tribute to the Brislington mum and, today (Friday, February 7), they gathered at Cornerstone Church in Redland to remember her life.
So many mourners attended the funeral, the church's upper floor was also full, with attendees wearing colourful outfits.
The reverend's daughter Sapphire Lees said her mother would now never witness key events in her life such as her first child being born.
'She was my best friend'
"My mum was an angel sent by God," she added. "There is no way you could be around my mum smiling and be in a bad mood.
"She would always make sure I was strong, whatever I was going through.
"She was my best friend and life will never be the same without her.
"Each one of us carry a piece of her with us, like a puzzle, so she will always be present."
Stanley Jnr Lees also spoke during the service, saying his mother brought her six children to a foreign country and raised them single-handedly.
Rev Dr Mudisi-Robinson was originally from Zimbabwe and moved to England in 2000 to claim asylum and to be able to provide more opportunities for her children.
Before settling in Brislington, the grandmother-of-one also had spent time living in Fishponds and Easton.
Takudzwa Fulton Chiota told the congregation: "She was an angel of a woman.
"She shone a light on every person she came into contact with.
"We miss you and we will always love you, my beautiful mother."
Rev Dr Mudisi-Robinson's sisters also spoke during the service, who described the eldest sister as a figure they would look up to as if she was their mother.
Hymns were sung during the service, led by Pastor Edson Maburutse, and verses were read from the Bible.
Ms Lees has previously said her mother was an accountant and a childminder running several businesses, as well as being a pastor of the church 'Jesus Kingdom Ministry' in Brislington.
A theology student at Roehampton University, the reverend wrote nine books on Christian religious topics, with eight of them being published.
She also founded a college in Botswana which now has three other branches.
