Humza Yousaf destroys Laurence Fox with Scots verse after racist remarks

HUMZA Yousaf destroyed Laurence Fox using Scots verse following racist remarks from the far-right actor-turned-politician.

The former Scottish first minister shared a video in reaction to a campaign organised by far-right agitators ,which led to the Saltire being co-opted in an anti-immigrant push.

Union Jacks and St George's Cross flags have appeared on lampposts in England and other parts of the UK in recent weeks, as part of a campaign called 'Operation Raise the Colours'.

And now, Saltire flags have been spotted appearing attached to lampposts in Glasgow, which are understood to be part of the far-right-backed campaign.

“The Saltire doesn't belong to one group, it belongs to us all. It's a symbol that welcomes all who call Scotland their home, not a symbol to try and shut people out,” Yousaf said in a post on Twitter/X (below).

“We can't afford to be passive, we need to mobilise & confront the forces of hatred that are trying to divide us.”

In reaction, the English actor-turned-politician made disgusting racist remarks – telling Yousaf to “f**k off back to where you came from” and added, “this is our country”.

Yousaf – who was born in Glasgow, has lived in Scotland his entire life, and was the first ever Scottish first minister of colour – responded with Scots verse.

He said: “If I'm not Scottish how come I can rhyme in Scots?”

Then, in Scots verse:

“Laurence Fox, a bawheid radge,

"Racist blether, deidbeat dad.

"Failed at actin, daein it bad,

"Now he’s jist a daft wee lad.”

Fox has yet to respond.
