Hummel have released a brilliant video showcasing the origins of Everton's new 2020/21 away kit.
The club's technical partner officially unveiled the change strip on Friday morning, and it's classic look will certainly relate to a lot of supporters.
The kit is amber and blue, harking back to the away colours worn by Harry Catterick's title-winning side of 1969/70.
And hummel are well aware of how important being rooted in the club's history is for every kit they go on to release.
The Danish sportswear brand have now released a video which showcases a number of players from the club's past wearing the colours of the new kit.
Starting with the holy trinity of Howard Kendall, Alan Ball and Colin Harvey - the clip goes through numerous strips from Everton's history, even showcasing some modern-day outings.
Joe Royle, Wayne Rooney, Tim Cahill, Mikel Arteta and Leighton Baines among others also feature in the video before the new kit is shown off in full.
In another nod to the past of the Blues, the back of the shirt also includes an EFC scroll detail which first appeared on the Everton home and away kits in the 1972/3 season.
This year marks the 50 th anniversary of Everton’s seventh league championship, which saw players wearing the much-loved amber away strip as Harry Catterick’s side claimed the 1969/70 title with two games to spare.
A few months before sealing the title, World Cup winner Alan Ball first showcased his distinctive white hummel boots at a home game with Coventry City.
