Everton kit supplier hummel have announced the club's new 2020/21 away strip will be released on Friday.
The Danish sportswear brand released a teaser video to their Twitter account on Wednesday morning showing a short clip of the Holy Trinity statue outside St Luke's church.
In it, a golden light shines over the three players on the monument, perhaps dropping a hint towards the colour of kit Blues supporters can expect to see on Friday.
At the time Howard Kendall, Alan Ball and Colin Harvey were all playing for Everton, the iconic amber away kit was worn by the club.
Wednesday's teaser video would seem to suggest a link back to those three players with the new kit.
Later responses from hummel suggested the away kit would be released on Friday morning, but no specific time has yet been given.
The sportswear brand released the 2020/21 Everton home strip last month to much acclaim from supporters, with it going on to become the fastest-selling shirt in the club's history.
