Human body parts found in bag outside Dublin home sparks police probe

Police have launched an investigation after human body parts were found in a bag outside homes in north Dublin.

Ireland's Gardai rushed to the scene in Coolock after the alarm was raised shortly before 10pm on Monday.

There they found a bag containing human limbs.

Local reports say two arms and a leg were found but the torso is yet to be located.

Dublin City Coroner has been notified and the State pathologist is expected to visit the scene later on Tuesday.

Crime officers are currently examining the scene, which has been sealed off.

Investigations continue.
