Hull IT specialist Giacom has been named a ‘national winner’ in one of the world’s largest business competitions.
The firm, based in Saxon Way in Hessle, entered the 2019 European Business Awards alongside around 120,000 other companies.
Giacom was then chosen from over 2,700 businesses and highlighted as ‘one to watch’ in a list published this summer.
The IT provider has now been selected as a ‘national winner’ by a panel of independent judges comprising of business leaders, politicians and academics.
It is the best business in the UK in the ‘Innovation with Turnover of €26m – 150m’ category, and will now go on to represent the country in the final stage of the competition.
