Hull FC to meet St Helens in mouth-watering Challenge Cup semi-final showdown

Hull FC have been handed a Challenge Cup semi-final clash with back-to-back Super League champions St Helens.

The two teams, among the standout sides in 2021 so far, will lock horns with a place at Wembley up for grabs on Saturday June 5th.

It will see the two teams go head-to-head in two consecutive weeks, similar to what the Black and Whites have come through after back-to-back games with Wigan.

Brett Hodgson's side advanced as they ended the unbeaten start to the season of Wigan Warriors, while St Helens overcame a gutsy Huddersfield Giants effort to move into the last four.

Warrington, who defeated Catalans in the quarter-finals, will play the winners of Castleford and Salford.

The draw, conducted by four-time winner Jamie Peacock, has delivered two intriguing ties, regardless of the winner between the Tigers and the Red Devils.

It remains unclear where the games will be played, but it will be a triple-header event, with the women's Final also taking place on the same day.

Challenge Cup semi-final draw (to be played June 5th)

Hull FC v St Helens

Castleford or Salford v Warrington Wolves
