Hull City yet to receive a bid for Newcastle United target Jarrod Bowen

Hull City are reportedly yet to receive a bid for in-form forward Jarrod Bowen.

The 23-year-old is the Tigers' top scorer and can count Newcastle United among a host of Premier League clubs linked with a move this window.

Bowen's contract is due to expire at the end of the season - although Hull retain the option to extend the deal by a further year.

However, despite his sustained prolific form, the Athletic reports the Tigers have not received an offer in the current or the previous window.

A series of loan offers were submitted last summer but were all quickly rejected.

Aston Villa, Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Wolves are all credited with an interest in Bowen along with the Magpies.

Head coach Steve Bruce is understood to be a "long-term admirer" of the forward, with attacking reinforcements firmly on the agenda on Tyneside.

Bowen progressed through the ranks at Hereford United before making the switch to the Tigers in 2014.

Peter Beadle, the former youth team manager with the club, is convinced the 23-year-old's chance in the top flight will come sooner rather than later.

He told the Athletic: "I am certain Jarrod's chance in the Premier League will arrive.

"He is just too hard to ignore. He got 22 goals last season and looks like scoring even more this time.

"That will come and, from my experience of working with Jarrod, when it does he will be ready to take it.

"No question about that."

Tigers boss Grant McCann has previously issued a hands-off warning for Bowen - insisting the forward is happy with life at the KCOM Stadium.

McCann said: "I think the club have made it clear that he’s not for sale. Not in this window, anyway.

“We’re really pleased for Jarrod to be here and Jarrod is loving being here."
