Leeds United turn their attentions towards the EFL Cup on Wednesday night when they host Hull City.
And Grant McCann, manager of the League One side, may have given some indication of his selection intentions for the Elland Road match.
McCann is expected to make numerous changes for the game, as too is his opposite number Marcelo Bielsa.
The Tigers ' under-23 side which saw off Sheffield United on Monday evening may have offered a glimpse of what we could expect in LS11.
Max Sheaf, Callum Jones, James Berry, Jacob Greaves and Martin Samuelsen all featured in the 2-0 victory at the KCOM Stadium.
The game saw a brace from Berry seal victory thanks to a goal in each half.
Greaves, Jones and Samuelsen were all withdrawn on the hour mark by boss Andy Dawson, while Berry and Sheaf remained on for the full 90 minutes.
There were also 90 minute displays for Festus Arthur, Jordan Hickey and Billy Chadwick – all of whom featured against Leicester City in the EFL Trophy last week.
Speaking after City's opening League One victory over Gillingham last Saturday, McCann admitted the league remains the priority and that he will have a good look at his options before making a final decision on his starting XI for Leeds.
“The games are coming thick and fast, and the league is the most important for us this season,” he said.
“So we’ve got to look at the squad, look at the freshness in the group and see who is right to go on Wednesday.
“It’s very hard to go Saturday-Wednesday-Saturday-Tuesday, so we’ll see how they are.”
Leeds themselves are poised to make a raft of changes, with Tyler Roberts, Rodrigo and Jamie Shackleton among those in contention to start.
