Hull accountancy firm appoints first MD as further expansion plans kick off

Expanding Hull accountancy firm 360 has appointed its first managing director.

Adrian Hunter steps up from the role of practice manager, having joined the team in October.

He brings more than 25 years of experience in senior and strategic management roles across the finance, leisure and hospitality industries to the role.

Andy Steele, founder and director of 360 Chartered Accountants, said the move was a natural progression.

He said: "This promotion is very well deserved and is testament to Adrian’s talents and expertise not only within his specialist sectors, but also in business growth as a whole. He has fitted in perfectly to the team and shares our company values which place our clients front and centre of everything we do as well as the wellbeing of everyone who works here.

"Moving forward, his knowledge and commitment will be invaluable as we continue to grow and expand.”

It comes just weeks after a new York office was opened by the firm, which celebrates its 12th anniversary this week. Headquartered in Hull’s Albion Street, it has taken space in Blake House in York, yards from the Davygate and Stonegate junction.

Mr Hunter said: “It’s a real privilege for me to be asked by Andy to become managing director of 360 and I look forward to developing the business throughout 2022 and beyond. It has been an incredibly testing two years for business owners and we look forward, as a team, to doing everything we can to help businesses flourish and grow in a post pandemic world.”

He will also be focusing on the firm’s new charity, the 360 Foundation, set up to help disadvantaged children and young adults in the HU1 to HU9 postcode areas access grassroots sports. Fundraising events and partnerships with clubs and organisations are envisaged.
