Hulk Hogan’s “weak” final weeks and the 911 call into his death have been revealed.
The iconic WWE star died of a suspected cardiac arrest aged 71 on Thursday morning.
The wrestler knew he had a very “weak heart” and had grown increasingly frail at his mansion in Clearwater, Florida, a source close to his family said.
“He was suffering from shortness of breath, got tired easily, had lost a lot of weight and was on oxygen,” an insider told the Daily Mail.
Hogan - real name Terry Gene Bollea - also reportedly spent time trying to heal feuds with his estranged loved ones as he knew he didn’t have much time left.
“He had a lot of scores to settle. Didn't want to leave anything unsaid,” the source said.

The 911 call into Hogan’s death featured an operator requesting emergency crew for a “cardiac arrest” at the wrestler’s estate at 9.51am.
Paramedics spent 30 minutes performing CPR on Hogan before reportedly stretchering him out and rushing him to Morton Plant Hospital.
He was pronounced dead at 11:17am local time and his family said he died surrounded by his loved ones.
Police said in a press conference that no foul play was suspected in his death. The official cause of death has not yet been released.
Hogan had a complex neck surgery in June - a four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion.
His wife, 45-year-old Sky Daily, told fans at the time he was recovering from the “intense surgery with a long and layered healing process”.
She said the operation had affected his vocal cords and he required breathing and feeding tubes.
“He’s healing and we’re taking it one day at a time with love, strength, and patience,” she wrote on Instagram.
Daily denied rumours on social media that Hogan was in a coma, saying: “No, he’s definitely not in a coma!”

She added: “His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage.”
Two days before Hulk’s death, his manager, 81-year-old Jimmy Hart, wrote on X: “Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal!”
In 2023, it was reported that he was paralysed from the waist down after undergoing his 11th back surgery.
WWE confirmed Hogan’s death on Thursday.
"One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s," they wrote on X.
"WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans."
Hogan catapulted to fame in the 1980s when he became the face of Vince McMahon’s expanding World Wrestling Federation (now WWE).
He headlined the first nine WrestleMania events, including his unforgettable 1987 showdown with André the Giant at WrestleMania III, witnessed by over 93,000 fans.
"Hulkamania" swept the globe, turning Hogan into an international icon and household name.
He also appeared in films like Rocky III, Suburban Commando, as well as the TV series Thunder in Paradise, and VH1 reality series Hogan Knows Best.
Hogan married three times, first to Linda Bollea from 1993 to 2009. The former couple had two children, Brooke and Nick.
He married Jennifer McDaniel in 2010 but they filed for divorce in October 2021 after 11 years of marriage.
Hogan is survived by Daily and his two children.
