Hulk Hogan return: WWE Raw fans deliver defiant chant as legend gets back into ring

Hulk Hogan is to return to WWE Raw to face Ric Flair in a clash of two wrestling legends.

However, the two won't be battling it out against each other - despite fans chanting 'one more match' as Hogan and Flair stepped into the ring for the announcement of next month's clash at WWE Crown Jewel.

Instead, it will be Team Hogan against Team Flair in a five-on-five tag team match in Saudi Arabia on October 31.

They will pick five wrestlers each for the pay-per-view Halloween spectacular in Riyadh, with Hogan having announced universal champion Seth Rollins as his captain, and Randy Orton having the honour for Team Flair.

And some of the coaches' picks appear to have already been made, after King Corbin made his way out to the ring and attacked Rollins as the match-up was being announced.

So it looks like Corbin will be the second member of Team Flair, while Rusev then hit the ring to make the save and join Team Hogan.

WWE champion Kofi Kingston is also set to compete at the Middle East bash, as well as the likes of 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar and 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, The New Day, Randy Orton, AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio.

The show could also see the return of Goldberg to the ring for the third time in 2019, according to the Sun .

After his recent Las Vegas fight with Dolph Ziggler, the pair are believed to be set for a rematch after Goldberg squashed 'The Show Off' at SummerSlam.

Vince McMahon and his fellow WWE chiefs were fiercely criticised ahead of their last visit to Saudi.

Last November's Crown Jewel event was under pressure to scrapped after the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

WWE stars Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have all previously refused to travel to the Middle East shows.
