Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has revealed his excitement at the club signing his international teammate Tanguy Ndombele.
Spurs completed the club record signing of the midfielder earlier in the month, in a deal that cost a reported £63m from Ligue 1 club Lyon.
The midfielder was one of Europe's most sought after talents, after impressing in the French first division over the past two seasons. The 22-year-old is expected to make his debut in a Spurs shirt in the International Champions Cup tie with Juventus in Singapore on Sunday afternoon.
Ndombele has six international caps for France, starting the nations 4-0 win over Andorra in the European Championship qualifier.
His international teammate Lloris says that the new Spurs man has a big future in the game.
"Tanguy is still a young player, but his potential is massive," the goalkeeper said, as reported by ESPN FC. "I think he has done great things for Lyon over the last two years and has shown his quality, especially in the big games in the Champions League.
"He has won his first cap for the national team and it is clear that he will bring his skills because he is a modern midfielder who can do everything.
"He looks like a box-to-box player, but he is still young with a massive potential and I know that the gaffer and the coaching staff [at Spurs] will improve him and his skills."
Ndombele will be hoping to impress during pre-season in order to get the nod to start Spurs' opening Premier League game against Aston Villa on August 10th.
