Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has suffered a horrific arm injury and now there has been a brief update on his current condition as he heads to hospital.
Lloris misjudged a cross in the first half of Tottenham's clash at Brighton and ended up dropping the ball before he went behind his own line, with Neal Maupay finding the back of the net.
If the mistake wasn't enough, Lloris fell awkwardly inside his own goal and appeared to sustained an arm injury.
Lloris immediately grimaced as soon as he hit the deck, with the French World Cup winner even offered oxygen on the field as he was tended to by the medical staff.
BT Sport's Des Kelly has now confirmed that the 32-year-old is on his way to hospital, with the reporter offering up some harrowing details on Lloris' condition not for the faint-hearted.
"It's a horrible injury and when Hugo Lloris was carried past us he was screaming in pain," Kelly explained during the commentary of the first half at Brighton.

"He has been given extra morphine in the medical room and the ambulance has just arrived and the accident and emergency people are preparing to take him away."
While the extent of the injury is not yet confirmed, it certainly looked like a serious injury which could see the keeper ruled out for a lengthy spell.
Lloris was replaced by Paulo Gazzaniga, who also conceded in the first half when Brighton made it 2-0 thanks to a goal from Aaron Connolly.
