The Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris is likely to be out for four weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the draw away to Everton at the weekend.
Spurs said on their website: “Our captain left the field during the first half at Goodison Park and our medical team will continue to monitor his progress during his rehabilitation to determine when he will be ready to return to training.”
Should the Frenchman be sidelined for the next four weeks he will miss the Premier League matches against Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Stoke and Sunderland and the opening group match of the Champions League.
