Hugo Lloris is a serious doubt for Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League game at home to Aston Villa on Saturday, having still not made his return to full training after a knee problem.
The goalkeeper was involved in a shuddering collision with his team-mate, Kyle Walker, during the 4-3 home win over Leicester City on 21 March and he suffered a deep cut to the knee.
He missed France’s internationals against Brazil and Denmark and then his club’s 0-0 draw at Burnley last Sunday, when Michel Vorm deputised.
Lloris’s wound has been stitched but it has yet to heal fully.
Tottenham held an open training session at White Hart Lane on Thursday morning but Lloris was not present. He was back at the training ground in Enfield.
