Two stores remain closed at the East Midlands Designer Outlet after a fire broke out at one of its buildings.
The fire, which forced the shopping centre to be evacuated at around 5.30pm on Tuesday, November 23, broke out at the Hugo Boss store.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was likely the result of an electrical accident.
The Hugo Boss shop, as well as neighbouring store, Lindt, will be closed until further notice, Derbyshire Live reports. Meanwhile, the rest of the outlet will be open as usual.
A spokesperson for McArthur Glen, which owns the outlet and six others around the UK, said in a statement: "We can confirm there was a fire on [Tuesday, November 23] at approximately 17.30pm hours at the Hugo Boss store.
"The centre was safely evacuated and the fire brought under control by Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service. The Hugo Boss store will remain closed until further notice whilst investigations are carried out. The neighbouring Lindt store will also be closed until further notice.
"We’d like thank all the authorities for safely managing the incident and our centre guests for their cooperation."
Fire crews from Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire - Alfreton, Ashfield and Chesterfield - as well as a water carrier from Clay Cross, were dispatched to the scene and stayed into the night to ventilate the area using fans.
The blaze spread to the roof space and needed four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus to be extinguished.
In a statement released last night, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters from Alfreton, Chesterfield, Clay Cross and Nottinghamshire’s Ashfield Station, supported by an aerial ladder platform and water carrier, attended the incident. Four Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the premise and extinguishing the fire which had spread to the roof space.
"Two adjoining retail units affected by smoke were ventilated by fire crews using two large positive pressure ventilation fans.
"The onsite management team evacuated the shopping outlet, ensuring everyone was safe. No one was injured.
"The fire is now out and firefighters remain on scene clearing smoke using ventilation fans.
"A fire investigation has determined that the most likely cause of the fire was accidental electrical.
"The incident will be handed back into the care of the site management company later this evening."
