Hugh Keevins insists Odsonne Edouard should be benched for the final derby of the season.
The Celtic striker is out of contract in the summer of 2022 and seems certain to move on after this season concludes.
The Frenchman has scored some famous goals against Rangers, but Keevins feels his head is elsewhere with three games to go this season.
And the veteran pundit feels John Kennedy would be better leaving out his star man altogether if Edouard isn't in the mood.
Keevins said on Clyde One's Superscoreboard: "I don’t think he’s shown anything for a while now. If his head still in that place, better off leaving him on the bench."
But fellow pundit Jim Duffy disagreed.
He replied: "I’d be throwing the gauntlet to Odsonne Edouard and saying to him, 'this is your last chance to make a big impact as a Celtic player'.
"It doesn’t matter what he does in the next couple of games after that, tthis is the game that he could well be remembered for.
"So I would be throwing the gauntlet down and saying ‘Listen this is your opportunity’.
"It wouldn’t sell him somewhere because I think people have already made decisions on that, but I think it will help his reputation if he can manage to go with a bang.”
