Hugh Jackman shares excited video of him driving past Glasgow's SSE Hydro ahead of show

Hugh Jackman has shared an excited video clip of himself driving past Glasgow's SSE Hydro.

The Hollywood legend is in the city to play the venue on Tuesday and Wednesday night for his The Man. The Music. The Show tour.

And it appears the Australian is just as excited as we are to take to the massive Hydro stage.

In a video to fans, Jackman can be seen driving past the city centre venue saying 'Wow, the Hydro... woooo" with the caption three sleeps.

Many mega fans of the actor will already know he started his career on stage, so it comes as no surprise he's back treading the boards.

Jackman will sing songs from hit film The Greatest Showman and the musical Les Miserables, as well as favourites from Irving Berlin, Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire.

It's not the first time the 50-year-old has put on a one-man show. He first produced a show with a mixture of his favourite Broadway hits in 2011 for the Curran Theatre in San Fransisco, and he also performed in another show about his life - Broadway to Oz - for a sell-out run throughout his native Australia.

Jackman, who portrayed American showman PT Barnum in the box office smash The Greatest Showman, will bring his tour, which is backed by a live orchestra, to Glasgow's SSE Hydro on May 7, 8 and 9.
