Hugh Jackman has made his first official red carpet appearance with Sutton Foster following his divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness.
The pair attended the premiere of his new film Song Song Blue at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The 57-year-old actor and the Broadway star, 50, posed together on the red carpet, both dressed in black with Foster donning a Galvan black slip dress, while Jackman wore a plain black suit.
Furness and The Greatest Showman star announced their separation in September 2023, saying in a statement: “We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.
“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
In May, days after Furness filed for divorce, she released a statement speaking about “betrayal” and the “trauma” of marriage breakdown.

“My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal,” she began. “It’s a profound wound that cuts deep, however, I believe in a higher power and that God/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us.”
She then specifically spoke about her marriage to Jackman, saying: “This belief has helped me navigate the breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage. I have gained much knowledge and wisdom through this experience. Even when we are presented with apparent adversity, it is leading us to our greatest good, our true purpose.
“It can hurt, but in the long run, returning to yourself and living within your own integrity, values and boundaries is liberation and freedom,” she said in her lengthy statement to the Daily Mail.
A source told the Daily Mail that Jackman was “blindsided” and “extremely disappointed” by Furness’ remarks, claiming that there had been an “unwritten understanding” that she would not publicly criticise him.
The source added that Jackman “knows he cannot change anything.”
16 months after announcing his separation, Jackman appeared to confirm his romance with Foster in January, with the pair spotted holding hands while leaving a date in Los Angeles after months of speculation.

Jackman and Foster met in 2008 when she was starring in a Broadway production of Shrek.
The pair became Broadway co-stars in a year-long revival of The Music Man in 2022.
They grew close during the year-long run of the production, with Foster telling Vogue in 2022: “He disarms everyone, and he doesn’t make anything about him. He’s now become one of my best friends, which was a surprise”.
Rumours began swirling that Jackman and Foster were romantically linked in January 2024, after he was spotted in the audience of Once Upon a Mattress, a play she starred in.
Foster also split from her husband of 10 years, screenwriter Ted Griffin, in late 2024. The pair first worked together on Broadway in 2022’s The Music Man.
