Hugh Jackman goes cycling around Piccadilly Gardens before Manchester Arena show

Hugh Jackman has landed in Manchester ready for the first of three shows at the Arena - and he couldn't resist a spot of sightseeing.

The Greatest Showman star hopped on a bicycle to explore Piccadilly Gardens and Cathedral Gardens.

Posting snaps of his travels on his Instagram account, he wrote: "Let's do this Manchester."

Dressed in a blue hoodie and masked by sunglasses and a white cycling helmet, the Aussie superstar appears to have gone largely unnoticed in the busy public square.

A photo posted on his Instagram story shows oblivious passers-by strolling yards away from the Wolverine star.

The Oscar-nominated, Golden Globe and Tony Award-winning performer brings 'The Man. The Music. The Show' tour to Manchester Arena tonight (Friday) followed by a matinee show and another evening performance tomorrow (Saturday).

He will be joined by Greatest Showman co-star Keala Settle - who delivered the powerful vocals for This Is Me - as well as a live orchestra.

The show will feature a mix of music from the smash hit film alongside songs from the blockbuster big screen adaptation of Les Misérables, in which he starred in 2012, and his other film and Broadway roles.
