His fans were quick to take to social media to gush about the spectacle, from the moment when he appeared in his Tony Award-winning role as Peter Allen from The Boy From Oz to the show's opening with 'The Greatest Show'.
And fans were even more delighted when he was joined on stage by his The Greatest Showman costar Keala Settle for the massive hit This is Me.
For some, their emotions got the better of them during his rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
