A hugely popular Lahinch pub and restaurant has reopened after a coronavirus scare a few days prior.
The Cornerstone Bar and Restaurant in the middle of the town announced in late August they had to close due to a part-time staff member testing positive for the virus.
The worker contracted the virus outside of work but the establishment took the decision to close in the interest of safety.
However, after all workers were tested and came back negative the management announced the good news that they could open again from today, September 3.
A social media post said: "Following our recent decision to temporarily close in the interest of keeping our staff, customers and families safe, we are delighted to be in the position to share this post with you all.
"Each of our staff have been tested for Covid 19 and all results are negative. Following all HSE guidelines, it is safe for us to reopen on Thursday 3rd of September from 9am.
"I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge the wonderful Cornerstone staff for the support they offered each other through this difficult time and I know they are looking forward to returning to a very happy and safe work place.
"I also want to acknowledge our understanding customers for all the respectful calls and messages both on social media and privately. We look forward to welcoming you back and we are looking forward to meeting new customers also."
The Cornerstone is frequented by locals and holidaymakers alike with more and more people heading to Clare this summer due to travel restrictions.
