Hugely encouraging performance as he got 90 minutes under his belt. Denied a wonder goal by the crossbar.

Rock solid, barring one errant back-pass which came to nothing. Fine performance from the skipper.
Jack Baldwin - 7
Recovered from an first half error which almost led to a goal to have a very solid league debut for the Gas. Showed a striker's instinct for the clinching goal.
Cian Harries - 7
Solid at the back and a real threat at set-pieces. Had one ruled out for offside and assisted Baldwin's clincher.
David Tutonda - 7
Fantastic performance on his full league debut, offering endeavour, imagination and bite on the left flank
Josh Grant - 6
Improved as the game went on. Was harshly booked early and that forced him to be cautious, but a solid display.
Zain Westbrooke - 7
Got frustrated at times and his passing was wayward, but he is Rovers' most intelligent footballer and everything runs through him.
Luke McCormick - 6
Not always clean in possession, but was a thorn in the Northampton side and sparked several breaks.
James Daly - 7
Great shift. Exerted himself to the maximum in his 72 minutes on the pitch.
Brandon Hanlan - 8
Won and scored the penalty, skinning ex-Gas defender Cian Bolger before picking himself up to bury his spot kick. Reward for his thankless efforts in recent weeks. A right handful up top and led the line brilliantly.
