The programme of events has been confirmed for a huge comic art festival that is coming to Yorkshire.
Taking place between 4-10 November in Harrogate, Thought Bubble Festival have announced a series of exciting events for their biggest ever festival.
Events confirmed include a special screening of Shaun of the Dead and a Superhero Biscuit Decorating session with Bake Off’s Kim-Joy.
Thought Bubble will play host to top artists, with guests and exhibitors attending who are behind iconic comic brands including Marvel, DC, Black Horse and Image, as well as comic series' such as The Walking Dead, Rick & Morty, Judge Dredd, Hilda, Star Wars, Hellboy and more.
Thought Bubble founder Lisa Wood said: "The closer we get to the convention the more exciting being in Harrogate is becoming. We've got more exhibitors than ever and the best guest line up yet.
"Seeing our fans, new and old, embrace our new home is really special and makes us work even harder to bring something extra special for 2019"
Events confirmed for the festival include:
- A special screening of Shaun of the Dead in conjunction with Vice Press
- Superhero Biscuit Decorating with Bake Off’s Kim-Joy
- Hilda in Harrogate – An amazing exhibit by Flying Eye at Mercer Gallery Harrogate
- A mid-con party hosted by comiXology
The Walking Dead immersive experience
Panels including ‘The Science of Marvel’, ‘Hip Hop Comics Connection’, ‘Life Isn’t Binary’, ‘The Importance of Being Tank Girl’ and many more.
