A whopping 87,500 Benzodiazepine tablets were seized by Revenue in Dublin today.

The tablets, worth an estimated €175,000, were nabbed as part of an intelligence-led operation in the north inner city. This seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and the DMR North Central Divisional Drugs Unit.

A woman in her 40's was arrested following the raid and is being held at Store Street garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
