Huge street scrap involving '20 to 30 people' outside takeaway caught on camera

Shocking video footage has captured a massive street fight involving "20 to 30 people" erupting outside a takeaway.

A video clip shows a group of people stood outside a shop in Urmston, Greater Manchester.

The video clip shows punches being thrown and people being shoved into the road.

Onlookers can be heard shouting as the melee spills into the road.

The person filmed can he heard saying: "Wow. Wow. Everyone's fighting."

The footage captures two men come to blows in the middle of the street as the crowd heaves around them.

Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a disturbance at around 12.15am on Friday, July 24, a force spokesman told the Manchester Evening News.

Those involved ran off before officers arrived.

It is not known if anybody was badly hurt.

No arrests have been made.

Police are appealing for witnesses - or anyone with information - to come forward, the force said.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 12.15am on Friday, July 24, 2020 police were called to a report of a disturbance in Urmston.

"A fight broke out between 20 to 30 people outside a nightclub on Flixton Road.

"The group of offenders fled the scene before police arrived.

"No arrests were made."
