A huge haul of more than 1,000 guns has been seized from a plush Los Angeles mansion reportedly owned by the former mistress of an oil fortune heir.
Pictures from Holmby Hills show huge piles of weapons laid outside a property said to belong to Cynthia Beck - who once had a secret relationship with Gordon Getty.
According to public records, seen by the Los Angeles Times , the five-bedroom property belongs to Beck but there is no suggestion she has any connection to the 12-hour raid on Wednesday.
Among the weapons seized were rifles, shotguns, assault weapons and pistols, say reports.
Girard Damien Saenz, 57, who reportedly owns several properties with Beck, was arrested at the scene.
Saenz faces charges of unlawful transportation, giving, lending or selling assault weapons.

"I had never seen so many weapons in my career of 31 years," LAPD Lt. Chris Ramirez told ABC .
"That's such a big arsenal in a residence like this, in this type of neighborhood. It's astounding."
Beck does not live in the mansion and instead is reported to live in Europe, claims the Daily Mail .
Gordon- son of oil baron J. Paul Getty - famously revealed in 1999 he had been leading a double life and fathered three children with Beck.
J. Paul Getty became known as the world's richest man after amassing an £800million fortune.
He infamously once refused to pay the ransom of his kidnapped grandson, a story flung into the spotlight again recently in 2017 film All the Money in the World.
Gordon assumed control of his father's trust in 1976 and works as a music composer.
His son Andrew was tragically found dead at his mansion in the Hollywood Hills in 2015.
