Huge Siberian tiger charges into car before attacking a woman in terrifying rampage

A Siberian tiger weighing over 200 pounds went on a terrifying rampage, smashing into a woman's car as she screamed inside before jumping on a passer by.

Shocking footage shows the moment the tiger charged towards the vehicle as she was driving, before the camera is knocked over by the impact and the window shatters.

The driver is heard screaming as she tries to frantically move the car away but it's too late to avoid the collision

The tiger was then filmed racing towards another woman walking by at the time and attacked her, but she miraculously managed to escape unharmed.

The Siberian tiger had, according to the Amur Tiger Center, wandered into the village of Turiy Rog, Russia, from China by accident.

Local media news outlet Life reports that the local residents took it upon themselves to drive the tiger away from their farms after the beast, estimated to weigh between 220–368lbs, was seen stalking around their small village.

A spokesperson for Amur Tiger Center said: "She crumpled the side of a car, and after that inflicted no serious injuries on the woman that she pounced on."

The centre reported that an expert was sent to the scene and captured the tiger, which is now going through a medical check-up.

If the animal is confirmed to be healthy, it will be released back into the wild.

The centre told locals never to attempt to control a wild tiger, to keep their distance, and call a specialist.

The Siberian Tiger is consider endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), with only 3,900 of them left in the wild.
