'Vulnerable' boy, 13, found safe and well after goes missing on school trip

A vulnerable teenage boy has been found safe and well after going missing while on a school trip in Dorset.

Damian De Oliveira, 13, was part of a school group visiting Moors Valley Country Park near Ashley Heath when he went missing at roughly 3.30pm today.

He is described as white with quite long dark brown hair.

He was wearing orange ear defenders, a blue waterproof jacket, dark jogging bottoms and light blue lace up shoes with white soles.

Shortly after 8pm Dorset Police confirmed the teenager had been found safe and well.

In a statement posted on social media they said: "Officers searching for missing teenage boy Damian De Oliveira are very pleased to confirm he has been found safe and well.

"The 13-year-old had gone missing from Moors Valley Country Park near Ashley Heath at around 3.30pm today, Tuesday 11 June 2019.

"He has now been located in the Christchurch area.

"We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal as well as Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR) and others who assisted with searches."
