Thousands of people have been spotted at McDonald's branches across the UK after the chain reopened 192 more branches for takeaways only.
The restaurant - which is set to reopen more than 900 drive-thru outlets this week - opened its doors at 11am, and crowds have been gathering ever since.
The latest reopenings include branches in Leeds and Scotland - and come after the chain was accused of 'forgetting' its northern fans.
In Newcastle, traffic has been tailing back to the A1 since 11am, after McDonald's reopened its Metrocentre drive-thru.
It's left people waiting two hours to get through to checkouts.
In Robroyston, a suburb of Glasgow, police were called to manage queues due to unprecedented demand.
"McDonald's Robroyston Drive Thru...queued at the roundabout and beyond! Couldn't get out of Asda!! Police directing traffic as it's so busy," one customer wrote on twitter.
Chains in Newcastle, and Livingston, Scotland, have also seen long queues as staff rush through orders.
A customer tweeted: "Big queue outside McDonald's Drive-Thru on Maryhill Rd today, Police Scotland on hand to keep everyone safe. For those cooped up in flats for months, a wee treat! Keep safe."
In Edinburgh, managers at the Newbridge restaurant decided to close the drive-thru due to unprecedented demand, after consulting with police.
There were also reports of waits of up to an hour-and-a-half at the fast food giant's branch in Astley Bridge, Bolton.
Staff in high-vis jackets could be seen directing drivers outside the restaurant as the queues snaked through the car park and on to nearby streets.
It was one of four McDonald's branches in Bolton to open their drive-thrus at 11am - albeit with a limited menu.
Cars snaked around the area - but plans were put in place to ensure nearby roads were not affected.
"We’re delighted to be returning to communities across the UK and Ireland, thank you for your continued support and patience. We look forward to seeing you soon," the restaurant said in a statement.
The company said a number of changes will be in place when stores reopen - adding that dining areas will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
Staff will collect orders from behind perspex screens and all customers will be subject to a limited menu that no longer includes breakfast.
A maximum order of £25 per vehicle will be allowed and fans are encouraged to order and pay via the McDonald's app to save time.
