Many pubs across the country are expected to be packed again tonight as people crave one last night of freedom before the Covid-19 restrictions come into place.
The new coronavirus legislation demands that "hospitality venues such as cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars and social clubs" remain closed throughout the shutdown, with the exception of places that offer click and collect, drive-thru or delivery services.
The government initially banned takeaway sales, but this will now be allowed during the shutdown after a U-turn.
