Huge queues out the door as new Kimmage bakery offers scrumptious pastries

Artybaker, known for its beautiful sweet treats and pastries, has opened a second location in Kimmage after the success of its first store on Castle Street.

We popped in to the bakery over the weekend to see what all the fuss was about - and the queues were out the door. Here you'll find something really special and not just your average croissant or cinnamon swirl.

Dozens of people queued up outside waiting to get their hands on a scrumptious pastry that are very much insta-worthy. And were they worth the wait?

Absolutely! The Chocolate Almond croissant was a huge hit in our house and the honey seasalt bun was a unique, delicious surprise. There were also some classics like pain au chocolat and morning buns.

As well as delicious treats, the bakery also serves coffee with pine cone coffee roasters beans. The goodies were flying out the door so we suggest you get down there early at weekends.

Opening times are 8:30am to 2:30pm from Tuesday to Sunday, with queues forming most mornings with hungry customers eager to get their hands on the bakeries latest creations.
