Customers and drivers causing queues of traffic flocked to Llanelli on Wednesday afternoon after Burger King announced they were re-opening their drive-thru restaurant.
The branch in Parc Trostre is the first of seven restaurants which are re-opening in Wales offering deliveries and drive-thru services.
The burger chain had announced they were closing all of their UK restaurants on March 24, after adhering to government legislation around Covid-19.
Now, after being closed for six weeks, fans of the fast food chain were eager to get their hands on the chain's signature cheeseburgers and Whopper meals even if it meant lengthy queues.
It comes just a day after the re-opening of KFC at Swansea's Morfa Shopping Park, next to the Liberty Stadium, caused long traffic tailbacks.

Emma Jones, 25, who was finishing work in the retail park, said: "I couldn't believe it when I was driving home - the queue was ginormous and all of Trostre was heaving.
"I just think it's unfair really because some people need to come here for their work or their essential shopping. It's not fair for them to be caught up in this, a burger isn't essential.
"At least Burger King is at the other end of the park so it doesn't cause much congestion for other shops."
Stores in Parc Trostre and neighbouring Parc Pemberton such as Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Morrisons and B&Q are still open and trading essential items.
Fortunately Parc Trostre's Burger King is situated on the outskirts of the retail park and shoppers say most of the congestion was contained to one area of the shopping area.
But the reopening has also been met with criticism from some who say the fast-food chain trading is not essential.
Another shopper said: "I don't think it needs to be open even if people are in their cars. I saw friends parked up with their windows down chatting to each other."
Burger King have reiterated staff will be expected to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks and gloves, and adhere to strict cleaning protocols.
Social distancing measures will also be in place, while measures at other restaurants will include contactless delivery options via delivery partners.

Of the re-opening, a spokesperson for Burger King said: "Safety is Burger King’s number one priority, and to enable restaurants in Wales to re-open a number of procedures have been put in place to safeguard the health of both Burger King employees, customers and partners.
“We are so pleased to announce the phased re-opening of some of our restaurants, and are working hard to re-open as many as we can over the coming weeks.”
