Hundreds of people queued up at JD Sports and Footlocker stores in Liverpool ONE to be the first to get their hands on a new pair of Kanye West Adidas Yeezy trainers.
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 'black' went on sale today, June 7, 2019.
People waited overnight for the JD Sports to open this morning, with the queue stretching right around Liverpool ONE.
The Liverpool JD Sports store is one of only three in the country selling the trainers - along with stores in London and Newcastle.
The store had advised shoppers that the trainers would be limited to one pair per customer.
Some shoppers had come prepared for the queue bringing tents and camping chairs along with them to take the weight off their feet.
One onlooker said: "I have never seen a queue that big for something like that."
The trainers are the latest release by Kanye West and Adidas and retail for around £180. The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2, features a two tone all black colourway, reflective threading in the laces and a contrasting red stitch on the heel tab.
