A huge python was spotted in a Glasgow park leaving locals stunned.
The giant snake was seen slithering around Queen's Park in the south side of the city on Wednesday, August 18.
The lost serpent sparked an emergency call to the Scottish SPCA to come and pick him up.
It's unsure where the python came from, or how it got there - but an appeal has been launched to reunite it with its owner.
A picture was posted on social media by the lady who found it, urging folk to check if they're missing a giant snake.
The local said: "Found a big python in Queen’s Park, got sspca to pick it up so if you’re missing a pet contact them!"
The incident has left terrified local residents shaking.
One person said: "Would bloody HATE to come across that in the park! Glad it's OK and also glad it's not in the park any more!"
Another said: "Oh gawd! I’d have run a mile!!!!"
A third added: "Ugh. That's terrifying."
While another simply said: "My god that’s horrific."
Others were quick to find the funny side, with one saying: "It's my ex wife."
Another added: "I am mair worried wae the number of folk tagging their mates tae see if it is theirs . It seems there are a heck of a lot of escaped snakes oot there."
A Scottish SPCA spokesperson said: “After we received a report of a snake in Queen’s Park, Glasgow, an animal rescue officer retrieved the animal and it is currently in the care of the local rescue centre.”
