Plans for a trio of towers in Salford - one 50-storeys tall - have been revealed.
AQ Investments and Renaker have released the proposals for the Greengate district of the city - a quarter dubbed 'Salchester' that's seen huge development in recent years.
The plans include 1,500 flats, a new park, a public square and boulevard.
The towers would be from 41 storeys to 50, according to documents tabled at the town hall.
Detailed plans and images have so far only been published for one of the buildings - the tallest - which would have 559 one, two and three bedroom apartments and townhouses.
Residents would also have a swimming pool and gym, with shops on the ground floor.
It is hoped a new public space - ‘Greengate park’ - would become a ‘central meeting point’ for residents.
It would be locked from ‘dusk till dawn’ in a bid to prevent anti-social behaviour, planning documents state.
Overall, there would be 1,521 new homes.

Bosses also want to create a tree-lined boulevard linking the site, off Trinity Way, to Collier Street.
Developers are still in negotiations with the council over affordable housing and 'section 106' money - cash provided by developers for local community projects.
The historic heart of Salford, Greengate has been identified by Salford council as an area for regeneration.
The area - dubbed ‘Salchester’ due to the perceived blurring of borders between Manchester and Salford - has already seen huge development in recent years.
Work is well underway on Renaker’s 44-storey 100 Greengate, while there are also plans for a 55 storey residential skyscraper, which would make it taller than the Beetham Tower.
