A large heap of waste has been dumped at a popular beauty spot in Nottinghamshire.
The fly-tipped rubbish, found in Stoke Lane in Stoke Bardolph, consists of household items such as old armchairs, mattresses and what looks to be a net belonging to a trampoline.
The area is typically used by a large number of visitors on a daily basis.
It was reported to Gedling Borough Council on June 25 by councillor Mike Adams, who represents the Trent Valley ward, but it has yet to be removed.
The council said it had been forwarded to its environmental services team on Friday.
The waste has been left in a lay-by next to the River Trent and Poplars Sports Pavilion.
People who are found to be fly-tipping waste can face fines and repeat offenders can be prosecuted for up to £50,000 through the courts.
Some vehicles which are used to dump waste have also been crushed in the past.
