Huge outdoor cinema coming to Liverpool's Aintree Racecourse this summer

A huge outdoor cinema is coming to Liverpool’s Aintree Racecourse, with screenings of Dirty Dancing and Mamma Mia.

Adventure Cinema will head to Aintree Racecourse , with screenings due to be shown in the famous Red Rum Garden.

To ensure the safety of guests, Adventure Cinema says it has chosen “socially spacious”, open-air venues for its 2021 UK tour.

When entering each venue, groups will be guided to their picnic space by stewards, who will seat people safely away from other groups.

Other coronavirus measures Adventure Cinema is taking include wider aisles, allowing people to safely move around, and regularly cleaned, individual toilet units with hand sanitising stations outside.

The films being shown on Adventure Cinema’s UK tour include The Greatest Showman, 1917, Joker, the Harry Potter series, Grease, Dirty Dancing, The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Jurassic Park, The Goonies, Pretty Woman and many more.

Adventure Cinema will head to Aintree Racecourse on August 8 and 9, 2021, with screenings of Dirty Dancing and Mamma Mia.

Tickets start from £14.50, plus a booking fee.

Ticket holders will be offered a 100% money-back guarantee should anything occur that means the events cannot go ahead.
