Huge new Range superstore on brink of opening at Ayrshire retail park as shop bosses unveil what departments they'll have

Ayrshire's second Range superstore is on the brink of opening its doors.

The new Ayr shop will be based at Heathfield Retail Park and is gearing up to open next Friday, July 30 at 9am.

And the retail boost to the town has also created 80 full-time and part-time jobs in the local area.

Ayr’s Range store is the 15th branch to open in Scotland and joins other nearby stores in Kilmarnock and East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire.

The shopfit and merchandising teams are working around the clock to get the store ready for the big reveal.

Painting, sign hanging, stock unloading, and till training have been just a fraction of the happenings at the new site to prepare for customers, new and old, to enjoy their newest store from next Friday.

Shop chiefs say the new branch in Ayr will provide a wide selection of products across 16 departments from home décor and arts and crafts to DIY and petcare products.

The store even boasts a large outdoor garden centre which will be packed full of plants, paving, fencing, water features and more to make any garden space look fantastic.

There will also be exclusive offers running in-store until Sunday, August 15

The new store will be adhering to current government guidelines when they open next Friday, to help keep it safe for staff and customers.
