Huge military plane captured on camera brilliantly in clearest blue skies above Leeds

A stunning video has captured the moment that a huge military plane has been operating in the skies above Leeds.

Steven Cunningham filmed the moment the A400M Atlas aircraft flew over Headingley today, June 2 as it undertook some essential training.

RAF Brize Norton warned residents close by to Leeds Bradford Airport that they would be operating in the area.

The post said: "This morning, our A400M Atlas aircraft will be operating in the vicinity of the Newcastle and Leeds Bradford, whilst engaged in essential training.

"These are necessary, routine, flights and not connected with RAF support to the UK's fight against Coronavirus."

It has flown over the city a number of times this morning and has already caused quite a stir on social media.

One enthusiast commented to say: "My boys loved seeing this fly over twice, hoping for a third time."

Another added: "Brilliant! At last! After a week of nothing I get a lovely flyover here in Morley!"
